If you have kids then you know that it becomes more and more important to have "Girl Time" and "Adult Time." I love my kids and I love spending time cooing at my baby and drawing with my daughter, but sometimes... I need some adults to talk to! I need to be able to say big words and not have to add "w's" to the beginning of every word. Well, not every word, but you get the idea...
When Brancott Estate Wines gave me the chance to host a wine tasting and watch the new season of The Bachelorette, I was all over it. How could I possibly turn down an opportunity to get together with good people, eat delicious food and drink delicious wine?
For our viewing and tasting party I decided to turn it into a dinner party and make homemade Chicken Alfredo with sauteed garlic spinach! A party isn't a party in my book without fun food! The Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc pared perfectly with the creamy, garlicy alfredo sauce! Yum!
When I said a party isn't a party without fun food, what I really meant to say is that a party isn't a party without chocolate covered strawberries. Am I right or am I right? They should be a staple at any party. Plus, they're super pretty and impressive and so, so easy to make! Did I mention that the wine also paired perfectly with the strawberries? This Sauvignon Blanc is very sweet and fruity and they were truly meant for each other. This wine should be sold right next to the strawberries in the produce section, in my opinion.
